Symplified CEO Selected by Forrester Research to Present at Department of Homeland Security Symposium
BOULDER (CO) – November 29, 2010 - Symplified, the Cloud security company, today announced that it was invited by Forrester Research to present at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) Symposium on December 1 in Washington, D.C. The ICAM Symposium was created to provide CIOs and their staffs from all DHS agencies with best practices for planning and deploying ICAM systems that support traditional and cloud applications.
DHS is planning its ICAM strategy, architecture and roadmap. It has asked Forrester Research to bring together the industry’s leading experts to present case studies on identity management and administration, credentials management, access control, federation and more. Forrester invited Symplified as a leading vendor that can help the DHS devise a winning ICAM deployment plan. Mr. Olden will present a session on cloud based identity services, including identity and access management (IAM) for SaaS, IAM as SaaS, and trusted broker networks.
“Deploying the right identity, credential, and access management architecture has never been easy, and cloud computing has made the job even more complicated,” said Eric Olden CEO of Symplified. “It is an honor to be invited by Forrester Research to present Symplified’s vision for deploying a 21st century identity and access management infrastructure to the Department of Homeland Security.”
