Symplified CEO Eric Olden to Discuss the State of Cloud Security at America’s Growth Capital InfoSec Conference
Who: Eric Olden is the founder, CEO and Chairman of Symplified, the Cloud Security Company. He is a thought leader in identity management and the visionary behind Symplified’s creation of the first on-demand trust fabric that secures and facilitates adoption of the cloud. Olden is the chief designer of the Symplified Suite and the Trust Cloud™ on Amazon EC2. Previously, Olden was founder and CTO of Securant Technologies, which originated the market for Web Access Management and User Provisioning. Securant was acquired RSA Security for $140 million. Olden co-authored AuthXML and negotiated its combination with Netegrity’s S2ML to create Oasis’ SAML standard. He was awarded U.S. Patent #6,460,141 for pioneering designs in Web Identity. Eric is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley.
What: According to International Data Corporation’s (IDC) market report, SaaS will grow at a 25.3 percent annual compound rate through 2014. However, cloud computing will not reach its true potential until security is on par and fully integrated with enterprise datacenter security. Eric Olden will discuss recent innovations by Symplified that enable companies to securely embrace cloud infrastructure, including public, private and hybrid cloud applications. He will cover the Trust Cloud™, which integrates Symplified technology with Amazon Web Services to provide identity and access management services on a massively scalable and global basis. In addition, Mr. Olden will discuss how Symplified provides a trust fabric for the cloud that combines single sign-on, access management, identity management and usage auditing for SaaS, IaaS, and Amazon applications.
