Symplified and GCA Technology Services Partner on Cloud Security

BOULDER, Colo., Nov. 30, 2011 – Symplified®, the Cloud security company, today announced that it has partnered with GCA Technology Services, a technology services provider with deep expertise in planning and implementing identity management solutions. Under the terms of the agreement, GCA will provide Symplified’s cloud-native identity and access management (IAM) solutions to customers that are moving information assets into cloud computing infrastructures and struggling with resulting gaps in security, compliance, and IT management. Mutual customers will benefit from GCA’s domain expertise and Symplified’s unique ability to extend and enforce security policies beyond the firewall to third party applications.

“Identity and access management (IAM) has been a core competency at GCA Technology Services for over 10 years, but with the advent of cloud computing we needed a partner with specialized technology in this area,” said Jim Quasius, President and CEO, for GCA Technology Services. “We selected Symplified because they are the only vendor that provides a comprehensive IAM stack – from access control to single sign-on to audit – that is both purpose built for and native to the cloud.”

As enterprises integrate SaaS applications like and IaaS platforms like Amazon EC2 with their existing IT systems, Symplified provides IAM capabilities that span the cloud and datacenter environments. GCA Technology Services and Symplified will work together to deliver customized solutions that address customer requirements for centralized identity and access management, single sign-on (SSO), user management, and audit.

“GCA Technology Services has been a domain leader in the identity and access management market for many years,” said Mike Corbisiero, vice president of worldwide sales for Symplified. “Through this partnership, Symplified is providing GCA with a cloud-specific IAM solution that will enable them to address security requirements for cloud-only as well as hybrid on-premise/cloud environments. This is a good fit for both companies.”
