Symplified Selects Lisa Bergamo to Drive Global Marketing
Leader in Cloud Security Appoints 25 Year Veteran to
New Vice President Post
BOULDER, Colo., March 15, 2011 – Symplified® , the Cloud security company, today announced that Lisa Bergamo has joined the company as vice president of marketing. Bergamo brings more than 25 years of high tech marketing, branding, and public relations experience to the Symplified executive management team. She will lead global corporate, product marketing and communications programs for the company, which is the market share leader in cloud identity with more than 1 million seats of the Symplified Suite currently deployed by Fortune 500 and small medium businesses.

Prior to joining Symplified, Bergamo was founder and vice president of marketing for SOASTA, Inc., developer of an award-winning, on-demand cloud service for load and performance testing of websites and applications. At SOASTA, Bergamo defined the company’s corporate branding, created the cloud testing category, and secured recognition for SOASTA as winner of the Red Herring’s “2010 Top 100” and the Wall Street Journal’s “Top 50 Startups.” In 2002, Bergamo co-founded Iteration (later known as Istante) -- a software platform for real-time business intelligence. During her tenure, the company was awarded “2004 Technology of the Year” by Infoworld. Istante was acquired by Oracle in 2004. Bergamo has also held executive marketing positions with Neale-May and Partners/GlobalFluency, Sagent and CyberSource Corporation.
