On September 11, 2013, after a week of heavy rains, a 1,000-year flood event ravaged the mountain communities west of Boulder, Colorado, taking lives, destroying homes, roads, and everything in its path. The following video contains the story of Jamestown, a community literally torn in half by the deluge, and their work to rebuild their town and reunite their community.
