At Symplified, we’re helping enterprises bridge their users to the cloud.
That’s right, I just beat scores of you playing along to Buzzword Bingo.
OK, no more joking. At Symplified, we take identity bridging really seriously. If you read my last blog post you know that we don’t think our customers are joking when they come to us with requirements for a true enterprise-class identity solution. They have fully embraced a hybrid cloud solution, in which their employees, partners and customers need to be securely authenticated to their on-premises and cloud applications. IT ensures their company gets on with their business without the burdensome delays of multiple logins, password resets and help-desk requests.
Our customers often have users spread across the globe, and have made a significant investment in an identity architecture that is optimized for performance and uptime. They need the assurance that even if one of their sites is under water, their users are not.
With the latest enhancements to Symplified, we are thrilled to offer our customers the ability to deploy a high availability IAM and SSO solution across multiple data centers or sites. This is quite commonly across geographies and a true active-active configuration, so traffic intended for a failed cluster is passed to another available node with zero downtime.
Other capabilities this upgrade boasts are a series of health checks to allow global load balancers to route traffic, automated recovery from cross-site replication failures, and ease-of-administration. This latest Symplified update will be rolled out to our customers over the next few weeks.
This great innovation was possible thanks to a lot of creativity, analysis and late nights for our Engineering and Service Delivery teams.
And ping pong. That’s another thing we don’t joke about.
